The INE graphs reflect that the population is not distributed equally throughout the Spanish territory. What’s more, there are profound differences between one region and another. The clearest case is made by the comparison of Galicia and Castilla y León. Although the latter is the largest community in the country, with about 94,244 km2‘only’ 6,181 unique population entities are distributed throughout its territory.
