What is and how does the Google application work to take photos with filters from old camera rolls?

Let’s explain to you what it is and how to use Snapseed Camerathe new camera application created by Google. This is a Snapseed feature that has so far reached the iPhone first, and it remains to be seen how long it will take to also reach Android. We are going to start the article by explaining what exactly this application is, or rather this function within an application. Then, we will tell you step by step how you can use it to give your photos a touch of personality. What is Snapseed Snapseed is an application created by Google to edit your photos and to be able to improve them. It is one of the oldest applications there is for this function, to edit all aspects of the photo such as brightness, contrast, saturation, etc., and also to crop it. One of the features that has always made Snapseed popular is that it is designed for one-handed use, with all settings being accessible and very easy to use with just your thumb. But of course, we live in times in which the processing of photos in the camera applications of any mobile phone already improves them automatically, so this type of applications has had to innovate. First, Snapseed has introduced a feature to enhance photos with AI without having to do anything. The app is simply responsible for making all the settings. And then, Snapseed Camera has also arrived. What is Snapseed Camera Snapseed Camera a feature within Snapseed. Specifically, it is a function for take photos directly with the appso it tries to be an alternative to the camera application on your mobile. The main feature of this camera is that it has preset filters to take the photo with them. You choose a filter, you see the result in a real image, and you decide to take the photo with them. But Snapseed Camera goes beyond that, because offers vintage camera filtersthose old photo reels. It also has some presets with preset settings, and allows you to make changes to textures and other types of adjustments before taking the photo, as if it were a professional camera. How to use Snapseed Camera To use Snapseed Camera, you have to enter the Snapseed app. In it, At the top right you have a camera iconand when you click on it you will go to Snapseed Camera with its options for taking photos. Now you will go to a screen where you simply have to slide to the sides to explore the filters of different movies that you have available. Every time you select a new one you will see the changes on the screen. And that’s it. Once you have selected the filter, you just have to take the photo and it will be added to the application gallery. You can also activate a pro mode to make changes to zoom and other aspects. If the Spanish automobile market were a war, the Chinese car has a favorite battlefield: the plug-in hybrid. The last to arrive is the Omoda 7 SHS, a version that complements the company’s SUV range and is much closer in performance to its older brother, the Omoda 9, than to the smaller one, the Omoda 5. It does so, as always, with an endless menu of equipment, with some initial commercial offers that leave it as one of the most interesting cars in the segment. But also with very good levels of finishes inside and a ride quality that is also up to par. Omoda matches the maximum contribution of the Auto+ Plan. Price with exit campaign and aid: from 32,900 euros. winning bet The plug-in hybrid is fashionable in our country. According to ANFAC datain 2024 its sales grew by 111%. In January 2026, the growth compared to the same month of the previous year was 66.70% despite the purchase aid that later crystallized in the Auto+ Plan They were unknown. In both cases, both last year overall and in January 2026, three Chinese cars have already made their way among the best sellers in Spain. The recipe is simple. Unlike electric ones, plug-in hybrids do not pay tariffs upon entering Europe. This allows them to position themselves as the best option if you are looking for a car packed with equipment. This has translated into an increase in sales of plug-in hybridization cars in the Omoda-Jaecoo group. They assure us that last December, 50% of their sales were already represented by plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles. Of the remaining half, 25% corresponded to non-plug-in hybrids. An increase in sales is therefore to be expected this year with a more complete and varied range that, above all, opts for the segments that are growing the most in Spain. With the Omoda 5 gasoline as an entry to the range, which has already been accompanied by the hybrid versionand with the Omoda 9 SHS As the company’s flagship vehicle, the Omoda 7 SHS arrives to fill the intermediate gap. In the middle of its construction, the range seemed to split in two, with an affordable but very attractive Omoda 5 and a beast in its upper zone of more than 500 HP. Omoda’s new proposal is closer to this last option than to the previous one. By image of the product on the outside but, above all, on the inside. In front of the driver we have an 8.8-inch instrument panel and a Head-Up Display available in the top trim. In the central area we have a huge 15.6-inch screen that slides (on the top finish). And it has a small electric motor and a sliding mechanism like a tape so that, if we want, we can send it to the position of our passenger and he can control the music or select the destination. As a curiosity, if the driver puts the reverse gear on, the screen returns to its central area so that the images from the cameras can be seen. But the Omoda 7 SHS is not just this curiosity, its basic equipment (Pure) already includes the 50W cooled wireless charger, the heated steering wheel, Full LED headlights and rear lights, 19 ADAS systemsor rear parking sensors, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless. The Premium finish adds the aforementioned Head-Up Display and the mechanized screen, Sony speakers with eight speakers and active audio in four zones, active noise cancellation inside the car, a “540º panoramic” camera (you can see what is under the vehicle), electric and heated front seats, electric trunk and the panoramic roof. But what seems best to me, everything the interior is up to par. The cabin is full of soft plastics wherever you can reach, the steering wheel has a good feel and, above all, there are a good number of physical buttons well distributed in the area near the driver and with good adjustments. The control of the air conditioning, the driving modes and the selection between electric or hybrid operation has good quality controls. I only give the negative point to the control of the mirrors that continues forcing you to go through the screen. All these good sensations are repeated in progress. The Omoda 7 SHS uses the plug-in hybrid scheme that we have already seen in other models of the group: 1.5 turbo combustion engine that is accompanied by two electric motors. One of them is the one that takes the reins in most cases, functioning mostly as a series hybrid to improve consumption and offer an electric feel. However, the combustion engine can also push the wheels occasionally if more power is required. This complex system is managed by a single ratio transmission and provides a maximum of 279 hp when all components are working at full capacity. That push is felt on the open road. In the Omoda 7 SHS it is not so difficult to start the combustion engine as in other cars of the group and that results in better acceleration. … Read more

Unlike the EX90which uses the SPA2 architecture, this new SUV incorporates important new features, starting with its manufacturing process. And Volvo has opted this time for megacastinga technique that drastically reduces the number of individual parts by using recycled aluminum cast in large sections. The idea is to streamline production and reduce costs and weight. Another key innovation is the use of CTB batteries (“cell-to-body”) for this model, which integrates the batteries structurally into the chassis. According to Volvo, this system improves energy density by 20% and allows 31% higher charging speeds, all while taking up less space and reducing the overall weight of the vehicle. The EX60 also boasts an 800-volt electrical system, which translates into ultra-fast reload times, as long as our charger supports itclear. Its three versions can charge from 10 to 80% of the battery in just 18-19 minutes using a direct current fast charger (400 kW power). Three motor and battery configurations Volvo will offer the EX60 in three engine and battery configurations. The entry-level model, the P6 Electric, is equipped with rear-wheel drive, an 83 kWh battery and develops 374 HP (275 kW) with 480 Nm of torque. According to the technical sheet offered by Volvo, this version reaches 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and offers up to 620 kilometers of autonomy in the WLTP combined cycle, reaching up to 740 km in urban use. The P10 AWD Electric features all-wheel drive and a 95 kWh battery. Its power amounts to 510 HP (375 kW) and 710 Nm of torque, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4.6 seconds. The autonomy is 660 km in the combined cycle and up to 790 km in the city. The jewel in the crown goes to the P12 AWD Electric, which has a generous 117 kWh battery and develops about 680 HP (500 kW) with 790 Nm of maximum torque. This model promises to reach 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds and, the most notable thing, is that offers up to 810 kilometers of autonomy in the WLTP cycle combined, promising up to 980 km in an urban environment. If we take a simple look, we will see that this is one of the highest autonomy figures in the current electric vehicle market in this segment. On the other hand, it should be noted that they have a towing capacity that varies between 2,000 kg for the P6 and 2,400 kg for the all-wheel drive versions. Minimalist line design with the Volvo touch Aesthetically, the EX60 maintains the trend that Volvo has been showing us over the last few years, but this time it goes through a somewhat more modern and aerodynamic interpretation. The Thor’s hammer-shaped lights are still present, as well as the vertical rear lights, although with an updated finish. Factors such as the low hood, the stylized sides and the descending roof line contribute to an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.26, something that in … Read more

“You have to be very clear about your audience and know where to aim” This is what one of the people in charge of Ebro tells me who has seen the brand grow since its first days and who came with previous experience in one of the largest automobile groups in the world, now made up of a huge sum of brands with a diluted image that have lost their hallmark. Ebro is looking for it by pulling Chery. As we tell you in Xatakathe brand has the challenge of recover a firm that was an icon of rural Spain through Chinese capital but trying to carve out its own niche in the market. They explain to us that there are already a thousand workers in the old Nissan plant where, curiously, those first Ebros were also assembled. For now, the company continues working with kits partially assembled in China but those that are finished being sealed in Spain. The next step is for these kits to be components, more individual parts and greater weight of local assembly. Who knows if, in the future, they will be able to count on their own molds and purely Spanish manufacturing with a greater weight of Spanish suppliers. What is certain is that, until then, the brand seems to be heading in the right direction. Ebro S900 PHEV technical sheet EBRO S900 PHEV Body type. Five-seater SUV. No. Price and launch. Now available from 53,990 euros without aid or commercial offers. Ebro announces a starting price of 38,990 euros with the exit campaign. Chinese car plated in Spain We could get an idea of what we were going to find with the Ebro S900. If you have read our test of the Omoda 9 SHS You will have noticed that, aesthetically, it has many similarities. And its skeleton, the ingredients of the dish, are Chinese. But the chef is Spanish, there is no doubt about that. And this Ebro S900 PHEV is tuned in Spain to resemble it a little more to Spanish tastes. The result is very good. Like the Omoda 9 SHS, this Ebro S900 also arrives with a complex heart. It has a 1.5 TGDI DHE combustion engine that is accompanied by three electric motors. Two of them are at the front, with a three-speed gearbox and three clutches, and another motor is located on the rear axle. This set that generates up to 425 HP and 580 Nm of torqueis distributed as follows: Electric motor 1 (front / generator): 75 kW (102 HP) / 170 Nm Electric motor 2 (front-wheel drive): 90 kW (122 HP) / 220 Nm Electric motor 3 (rear-wheel drive): 175 kW (238 HP) / 310 Nm 1.5 TGDI DHE engine (front-wheel drive): 105 kW (143 HP) / 215 Nm So you can work on five modes different, considering what is the most efficient and appropriate for each moment: Completely electric Series hybrid: the combustion engine acts as an electricity generator and the electric motors drive the car Parallel hybrid: electric motors and combustion engine drive the wheels The combustion engine drives the wheels directly. Regenerative braking Taking all this into account, the maximum power is 425 HP and a torque of 580 Nm. Its acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 5.8 seconds and the maximum speed of 180 km/h. This power arrives through six driving modes: ECO, Normal, Sport, Snow (longer gears), Sand (more work of the hybrid engine to improve traction in sand) and Offroad (smooth torque delivery to facilitate off-road handling) All this is accompanied by a 34.46 kWh CATL battery of NMC chemistry that allows recharging of 6.6 kW in alternating current and 71 kW as peak power in direct current. We will have to wait to find out what the battery charging curve may be because Ebro only announces that to go from 30 to 80% charge with a direct current plug it takes 25 minutes, which is not a good figure if we see the size of the battery and the maximum charging power supported. All this cocktail of data is brought to shore with a very nice plug-in hybrid in its use both on the highway and off it. What draws the most attention is the game that Ebro has put on his broadcast although, and without data we cannot confirm this for sure, it is likely that it is at the expense of his consumption. When we tested the Omoda 9 SHS we said that we did not feel the approved 537 HP. You had to look for them with your foot deep and they didn’t always show their faces. It was difficult to get the car out of its lethargy as series hybriddesigned to save consumption at the expense of the combustion engine working as an electricity generator at specific revolutions and with the electric motors pushing the car. Raspberry Pi has announced the launch of its new AI HAT+ 2 accessory, a complementary board for the Raspberry Pi 5 which promises to expand its capabilities for uses that involve generative artificial intelligence systems for a modest price. The board incorporates the Hailo-10H neural accelerator and 8 GB of dedicated RAM, features that according to the company will allow large language models (LLMs) to be run directly on the device without the need for an internet connection. Below these lines we tell you all the details. Raspberry AI HAT+ 2, technical sheet Raspberry AI HAT+ 2 processor Hailo-10H AI (40 TOPS inference performance at INT4) memory 8GB RAM workload Computer vision inference and generative AI models Software integration Full integration with Raspberry Pi camera stack Compatibility Compatible with Raspberry Pi 5 facility Includes 16 mm stackable header, spacers and screws (optional heatsink) price 130 dollars Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2, 8 GB RAM (add-on board to Raspberry Pi 5) The price could vary. We earn commission from these links A plate for local models The AI HAT+ 2 represents a leap compared to its predecessor, launched just over a year ago. While the original AI HAT+ focused exclusively on computer vision tasks, such as object detection, pose estimation or scene segmentation, this new model seeks to cover an increasingly growing interest in run language models locally and without needing to be connected to the internet. According to Raspberry Pi, the board offers 40 TOPS of inference performance (at INT4) thanks to the Hailo-10H chip. The incorporation of 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM on the board itself is the most notable novelty, as it frees up the Raspberry Pi 5’s processor and RAM for other tasks while the neural accelerator takes care of AI processing. Several language models with between 1 and 1.5 billion parameters will be available at launch, including DeepSeek-R1-Distill, Llama 3.2, and different versions of Qwen. The company assures that they will soon add larger models and that users will be able to adjust these models to specific use cases using techniques such as LoRA (Low-Rank Adaptation). Beyond paper Along with the benefits that the complementary board promises, it is good to know that the Hailo 10H chip that it incorporates is limited to a power of 3W, which means that, although it translates into better energy efficiency if we compare it with the chip that includes the Raspberry Pi 5 itself, this power limitation makes it The add-on board offers lower raw performance than the Raspberry Pi 5 itself. Additionally, while the extra 8GB of RAM is tremendously useful, it’s worth noting that the 16GB version of the Raspberry Pi 5 board itself also outperforms the add-on board in this regard. We must keep in mind that many medium-sized and quantized language models usually use more than 10 GB of RAM, so the AI HAT+ 2 would be limited to smaller models. However, this is a very interesting solution to have the Raspberry Pi 5 use the performance of the add-on board to run models while using the resources of the main board for any other task. Who is it intended for? The AI HAT+ 2 maintains the computer vision capabilities of its predecessor and, according to the Raspberry Pi, can simultaneously run vision and language models. The board could find its niche in power-constrained applications that need to combine vision processing and language model inference, such as industrial automation systems or IoT devices. It may also be useful as a development kit for companies planning to integrate the Hailo-10H chip into their own products. For users simply looking to run language models locally on a Raspberry Pi, the most practical option is still to purchase a Raspberry Pi 5 with 16GB of RAM. Price and availability The Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ 2 now It is available for $130.although to buy it in Spain it will depend on the price of the official distributors. Furthermore, in the Hailo GitHub repository and in his Developer Zone You can find examples, tutorials and documentation to get the most out of the board. To take photos, I am clear about which phone I would buy right now. A high-end that does not increase too much in price

I have never been a big lover of photography because until a few years ago it had not really caught my attention. But I have been experimenting little by little and Nowadays on a mobile I prefer to prioritize this section before even the power. Although in some cases good power and good photography go hand in hand in the high range, there are times when this is not the case. Here, for color tastes. Researchers extracted photos and statuses from 3.5 billion WhatsApp users. Meta didn’t react until they told him.

Between December 2024 and April 2025, a team from the University of Vienna identified 3.5 billion active phone numbers on WhatsApp (practically its entire user base) from a single server and without encountering too much technical resistance. They processed more than a hundred million numbers per hour and extracted not only the existence of accounts, but also public keys, profile photos, status texts, and device metadata. They did it without having to hide, from the same university IP, same server, five accounts. For four months, no one in Meta noticed. Why is it important. This is not the first time that this vulnerability has been demonstrated, as it has already occurred in 2012 and 2021but the first at this scale and speed. The finding exposes a structural contradiction in WhatsApp: Your architecture should show whether a number is registered to enable contact discovery… …but that functional need collides with the privacy of its users. Knowing who uses WhatsApp in countries where it is prohibited, such as China, Burma or North Korea, can have serious consequences. There they detected 2.3 million, 1.6 million and five accounts respectively (not five million, just five). The investigation, published a few weeks ago in NDSS 2026shows that this crack not only persists, but has widened. The context. The researchers developed ‘libphonegen’, a tool that reduces the search space from billions of theoretical combinations of possible mobile phone numbers to “just” 63 billion real candidates for 245 countries. Using unofficial WhatsApp clients that directly access the XMPP API, they queried these numbers at a rate of 7,000 per second. Neither his IP was blocked nor his accounts sanctioned. Meta did not respond until researchers explicitly reported the finding in March of this year, and countermeasures did not arrive until October, just a couple of months ago. The figures. He dataset resulting five times higher the scandal of scraping from Facebook 2021: India leads the document with 749 million users (21% of the total), followed by Indonesia and Brazil. In Spain, 46.5 million accounts. 81% use Android. More than half have a public profile photo. 29% have the status text visible. Between the lines. The researchers were able to infer the operating system by analyzing initialization patterns of the cryptographic keys. Android starts certain identifiers at zero. iOS does this in random values. This detail matters because iPhone users are higher-value targets for attackers. They also detected that public keys are reused. They found 2.3 million different keys used on 2.9 million different devices. In Burma and Nigeria, tens of thousands of numbers shared the same key, pointing either to faulty implementation or outright fraud. They even found twenty American numbers that use a private key composed only of zeros. In detail. The method is not limited to confirming the existence of the accounts. For each one they extracted public keys, timestamps and the list of linked devices. This allows you to build detailed profiles without accessing the content of the messages. The age of the device can be estimated by counting key rotations. The “popularity” of a user is inferred by the frequency of depletion of their prekeys single usewhich are consumed every time you start a new conversation. Researchers downloaded 77 million profile photos of the +1 rank (prefix for the United States and Canada) in a matter of hours. 66% of them contained recognizable faces. They also found disturbing status texts, such as those from traffickers listing prices, accounts business advertising drugs or publicly visible corporate emails from governments and armies. And now what. Meta has deployed probabilistic cardinality counters to limit how many unique accounts a user can query without blocking legitimate contact discovery. It has also restricted bulk access to status photos and texts. The researchers confirmed that the measures work in subsequent tests. But no countermeasures protect those who were already listed during the months in which the system has been wide open. The big question. For four months, from a university server without even hiding their identity, they looted practically the entire user base of the most used application on the planet without anyone at Meta realizing until they were explicitly told. If these researchers were able to do it under these conditions, who else did it before without telling anyone? AI already generates photos indistinguishable from reality, so people are using it to collect fake returns

The photo on the left was taken by me on my bathroom counter, the second is the result of asking Nano Banana to simulate that it had been hit during transport. If it weren’t for the Gemini logo in the lower right corner (which can be removed very easily), it would pass perfectly for a real photo. Online stores have a problem. what’s happening. There is an increasingly common trend in the world of online sales. Some customers are taking advantage of imaging models like Nano Banana to request product returns. Is what this person did: He ordered a carton of eggs from a fast home delivery service. One of the 24 eggs was broken. He took a photo and asked Gemini to add more broken eggs. He sent it to customer service and voilà: return completed. Why is it important. The images are no longer proof of anything, we saw it with the first images generated with Nano Banana Pro that went viral, and we are going to have to learn to live with it. Not only will we doubt absolutely every image we see, it also means that anything that could be verified with images may now be false. There are many more scenarios: cheat on your boss telling you that you had an accident on the way to work, exaggerating the damages to your insurance company, lying to your partner… China has the advantage. They count in South China Morning Post that the trend of deceiving online sales companies with AI is a trend that is spreading like wildfire. During the pass 11.11 celebrationseveral stores received images of customers asking for a refund using AI-generated images, such as a rusty electric toothbrush, a frayed item of clothing, or a broken ceramic mug. There is a case that has been echoed Wiredin which a customer who bought live crabs demanded a refund because many had arrived dead. To prove it, he sent images and even videos, but the sellers noticed that the video was not real because there were crabs with more legs. The problem with these detected cases is that the images were not credible, but that makes us think of all the more subtle images that will be considered good. There are more cases. China has the largest online trading systemso it makes sense that more cases have been detected, but it is not a trend exclusive to one country. The egg case that we mentioned above occurred in India and cases have also been detected in the United States. According to the fraud detection firm Forterthe use of AI images for this type of deception has increased by 15% by 2025, coinciding with the arrival of more capable imaging models. With Nano Banana Pro it looks like the trend is going to give a significant boost. Returns without return. Obviously, this technique cannot be used with just any product. There are cases in which stores refund our money without it being necessary for us to return the product. It can be applied in the case of perishable, fragile products and, in general, low-value products. If the images are no longer proof, they will have to change the strategy. Sending us a broken bottle of shampoo, I don’t know if it would be the best option, but they could force that the photos sent can only be taken from the app itself and not upload the ones we have in the camera roll. Zara has found the formula to produce more photos in much less time. The answer was not where many thought

Every time a big fashion brand mentions artificial intelligence, the reflex is almost automatic. We think about the possibility of models replaced by avatars, sessions that are reduced to a minimum and increasingly automated campaigns. It is a logical reaction, fueled by what we have already seen in the sector in recent months. But not all bets go that way. In the case of Zara, the question is not whether AI enters the creative process, but how it does so and what it decides to preserve intact. Not all AI in fashion is the same. In recent years, the sector has been trying very different paths under the same label. There are brands that have opted for generate complete campaigns with images created by generative systems, and others that have explored the creation of digital “doubles” of models to reuse their image in marketing. This context explains why Zara’s announcement triggers almost automatic suspicions. But it also forces us to refine the focus, because replacing a session is not the same as reusing a photograph, nor is it the same to displace people as to reorganize how visual content is produced. What exactly has Zara announced. Reuters reports thatZara has begun using AI to help create new images of real models in different outfits and accelerate visual production, in a movement that is part of a broader trend in the sector. As explained by an Inditex spokesperson, AI is being used to complement existing processes, not to replace them. The company presents it as a way to gain speed in the production of images without considering a total change of model in how its visual communication is built. How the “nuanced” approach works. From what has been published so far, the approach aims to take real photographs of human models and use AI to edit them and show those same models with other combinations of clothing, without repeating the session. The British newspaper CityAMfor its part, includes the anonymous testimony of a model according to which Zara asked for permission to edit its images with AI and thus show different items. This difference is important, because we are not talking about generating a campaign from scratch or creating a complete digital replica, but rather about expanding the number of final images based on previously photographed material. A precedent that marked the debate. Months before Zara’s move, H&M had contributed to tense the conversation with a much more visible proposal. In March 2025, the swedish company announced that would begin to create digital “twins” of 30 models to use in social networks and campaigns, always with prior permission. The initiative included compensation and control of rights by the models, but it also provoked criticism and once again put on the table the fear of a progressive reduction in work on traditional sets. The other end of the spectrum. The clearest contrast is offered by Mango. The company presented a campaign for its youth line generated entirely with AIa much more radical approach than Zara’s. In its case, AI is not limited to expanding combinations from a previous session, but is placed at the center of the creative process, although with subsequent intervention by human teams for selection and retouching. Mango frames this decision within its 2024-2026 strategic plan and presents it as a commitment to efficiency and innovation, thus marking a clear limit compared to hybrid approaches. Even so, the discomfort does not disappear. Some actors in the sector warn that the growing use of AI could reduce the number of assignments for photographers, models and production teams. It does not speak of a specific impact, but of a cumulative effect that can alter an entire ecosystem, from established professionals to those trying to make their way. The concern is not only focused on a specific brand, but on the sum of decisions that, little by little, change how many times a camera is turned on. Images | Zara | Highlight ID | M.
