Maribel Guardia does not yet have custody, the little boy will only remain with her for ten days while the investigation of the case develops.
“The specialists in this type of investigation, upon finishing analyzing all the parties, They informed us that it was determined that the child must stay temporarily (for 10 days with me)only while the investigation is carried out,” reported the actress.
Although Guadia believes that children should live with their mothers, The actress considers that Imelda Garza is not suitable at this time to take care of her grandson.
“I have not been granted custody. I am convinced that children should be with their mother. I will always defend that principle. But yes: He needs a mother who is healthy and full of her faculties.“, assured Guardia, who assured that the authorities determined that the best environment for the little boy is to be with his grandmother.
“For the moment, the authority has determined that the most suitable environment for the minor is with his grandmother.in the house he has happily lived in since he was born, in a familiar environment. On this path we will leave the solution in the hands of God and the corresponding authorities, respecting their criteria, always for the greater well-being of my grandson,” he added.
In addition, The actress indicated that, contrary to what many think, she is not trying to fill the void left by the death of her son with her grandson.
“It goes without saying that I do not intend to replace my son, his loss is irremediable and his absence permanent. But it is my obligation to take care of the interest and health of my grandson,” said Guardia, who said he will not give statements to the press for the well-being of his grandson and because the investigation is ongoing.
Maribel Guardia said she hopes Imelda Garza-Tuñón recovers soonwithout giving details of the situation, so that José Julián can return to her.
