This was announced by the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Local Administration, Miguel Ángel García Martín, in an informative meeting, as explained from The Economist. There will be observation posts in 51 locations and a festival in another: Buitrago del Lozoya. Of course, it should be noted that not all of the announced municipalities will be able to see the eclipse in its entirety.

Up to Tres Cantos, with this included, are the municipalities within the strip of totality. In the rest, you will only be able to see the solar eclipse partially, since the Moon will not completely cover the Sun and, therefore, the typical night in the middle of the day that characterizes eclipses will not be fully visible.
Regarding the festival to be celebrated in Buitrago del Lozoyawill take place in the Riosequillo Swimming Pools Recreational Area and will feature informative, scientific, educational, cultural and family activities. In addition, there will be food trucks, music, children’s games and workshops throughout the day.
