A generation that polishes errors and reinforces its identity
Trustrike commanders are one of the great changes in this second generation. Lenovo has opted to round the linessoften songs and offer a more natural ergonomics, thus responding to one of the criticism of the original model. The feeling in hand is more comfortable and allows long sessions without fatigue, according to the company. The FPS mode is maintained, turning the right command into a vertical mouse for shooting games. Joysticks with Hall effect and the pivotant D-Pad complete a proposal designed for precision and control, which is also retrocompatible.
The screen is one of the most striking points of the Legion Go 2. Lenovo has opted for an 8.8 -inch OLED panel with Wuxga resolution and frequency of variable soda from 30 to 144 Hz, certified with HDR Trueblack 1000 to offer deep blacks and high contrast. The commitment to a panel of this level promises a fluid experience in both competitive titles and in narrative adventures.

Lenovo has equipped the Legion Go 2 with a processor AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme Designed to offer sustained power in demanding games. Accompanied by Up to 32 GB of LPDDR5x memory At 8000 MHz and PCIE GEN4 storage of up to 2 TB, this set aims to move without problems AAA, independent and retro titles. In addition, it includes microSD slot compatible with additional up to 2 tb cards, allowing full game libraries.

The manufacturer has also reinforced the autonomy of the console with a 74 WH battery, a 50% increase against the first generation. This increase is designed for those who spend hours away from home and need a team that holds intense game sessions without constant interruptions. This capacity jump is especially valued, which we will thoroughly evaluate in its analysis, but that aims to offer more game time without depending on a plug or being forced to play with the connected charger.

The device maintains its commitment to versatility with console, tablet and portable modes, adapting to different scenarios of use. Lenovo has re -incorporated a rear foot, designed for those who want to play with the docked controls on a table. It also adds two USB4 portsone at the top and one in the lower one, which facilitate the use of docks and accessories without compromising ergonomics. To this is added a fingerprint reader in the ignition button, which speeds up access to the system and reinforces security.

In the customization section, a new Legion Space arrives, which centralizes all games and system settings in a single interface, with quick options to change performance profiles or row controls. To this are added three programmable buttons that can be configured to execute concrete functions or shortcuts. Lenovo wants players to adjust the console in their own way, both in competitive games and in casual titles. Buttons are not missing.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6e and Bluetooth 5.3. It also incorporates stereo speakers and dual microphone. This set of specifications reflects a balance between power and functionality, designed for those who seek a complete portable console that does not sacrifice connectivity options or audio quality.
The Legion Go 2 will be available as of September 2025, with an early price from 999 euros. The company thus points to the high range of portable gaming, reinforcing its commitment to a device that not only seeks power, but also a more complete use experience.
