Nevertheless, started as a Xiaomi supplier. He already left us with a great taste in our mouths with his predecessor, the Dreame X50 Ultraand has shown that its pulse does not tremble when it comes to innovating by adding legs and arms to its robot vacuum cleaners or connecting it to the drain. This latest installment experiments with something that promises: unscrewing its mops and side brush like never before.

The Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is an elegant robot vacuum cleaner that cleanliness is its strong point: Between its enormous suction capacity, double central rubber brush and an extendable side brush, it is the best we have tried for vacuuming floors. And we have pets at home. Mopping is not far behind: unless you drop a glass of soda, you can practically forget about the mop. The most surprising thing is that it is as if it “sees” spots and obstacles and acts accordingly.

Between the fact that there is plenty to clean and that the navigation is quite well optimized, it has battery life for a while. However, something that stands out is how fast it charges: for a small apartment for mine it doesn’t matter too much, but if you have a large house, that fast charging is a real plus.

This is a robot vacuum cleaner for technology lovers and it is not only because it is packed to the gills with it (retractable, by the way), it is because the app has boring options to personalize the cleaning to your liking and even to immortalize moments of your pets when it is cleaning (don’t panic: according to Dreame, the images do not go to any cloud. Of course, don’t techies, refrain: between the options and the fact that the interface is not the most intuitive in the world, it is easy for profiles like my mother gets into a ball.

Our experience with the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete

A beautiful design that makes a difference. It is an elegant robot vacuum cleaner that catches the eye. Although it may not seem like it because the base occupies its own space, it is easy to find space for it at home without there being “visual noise.” But beyond the aesthetics, what is really interesting are the details that make the difference: the retractable txapela (ideal for sneaking under cabinets), the two central rubber brushes that are great in a home with pets like mine, the front brush and the two mops. These two extend up to 12 and 18 centimeters respectively, something that really helps to clean better.

A laser on the txapela, a camera on the front and AI are responsible for refined navigation: it doesn’t turn around too much, or get lost, or run over things on the floor (and there are a few in my house), although sometimes it errs on the side of conservativeness. This can cause areas to be left uncleaned. As for obstacles, it overcomes obstacles of a couple of centimeters well and, curious fact, it is the first time that I can leave the patio window open without the robot trying to escape.

Don’t let me know that there is a dirty corner left. Where the Dreame In addition, these two rollers efficiently trap hair, no matter how small and fine it may be. Its effectiveness with carpets deserves special mention: here that maximum power really comes from cinema. Of course, if the carpet is hairy, you will still have to vacuum it by hand very occasionally.

There is one person responsible for the fact that in these weeks of testing I have not had to take the broom or the mop out of the closet: the ability to dislodge the arm of the side brush and mops to better reach nooks and crannies. Because yes, it is also one of the vacuum cleaners that scrubs best: between the cleaner, what is self-cleaning and the action of friction – rotation, it eliminates difficult stains and even small spills.

And it lasts, and lasts, and lasts… By putting it only on suction at maximum power (something you won’t have to do unless the floor is very, very dirty), it has completed the cleaning of a 55 square meter apartment in 50 minutes, using 64% of the battery. Using a medium power, a larger floor should not be a problem. If it runs out of battery, it not only returns to the base, charges and continues, but it does so with something rare in these devices: using fast charging. In five minutes it charges to 25%.

A very complete app, for better and for worse. The app has absolutely everything you could want to control your robot vacuum cleaner and more. It allows, for example, to choose the order of the rooms or adjust how often to wash the mop. Of course, the interface is complex, has translation errors and may not be intuitive. In fact, for non-techie profiles like my mother, a simplified mode that will show only the essential settings would be great.

Low and easy maintenance. In these weeks of testing, the only thing I have had to worry about is emptying the dirty water tank and filling the clean water tank, approximately once and twice a week, respectively. The solids bag still has weeks to fill and the mops are washed and dried on the base. All good news, even if you have a dust allergy, because exposure is minimal.

Dreame is a newcomer, but who would have thought: its robot vacuum cleaners are the best and most innovative on the market. This latest installment maintains the type and goes one step further with something that may not attract as much attention as putting an arm on it, but that in practice is more decisive: reach corners better. What’s the point of having great navigation if you can’t put the broom in because you can’t fit in? Dreame has solved it by making the side brush the protagonist and purifying the scrubbing even more.

In short: the Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete is a robot vacuum cleaner that does everything well and also reduces the difference in results between automated and manual vacuuming. Additionally, I have surprised myself using options that I didn’t think I needed in the app (although I understand that I am a heavy tech user). The only big “but” I have is the price. It’s great but expensive, even taking into account its advances.

Do I recommend it?

Absolutely yes: it is a robot vacuum cleaner that navigates quickly and well, has plenty of battery, is beautiful, is full of options and best of all, it vacuums and scrubs luxuriously. I especially recommend it for large homes full of nooks and crannies. This scenario is where it shines the most thanks to its mop and extendable brush system and the performance of its battery. Obviously, as long as price is not an issue.
