Novak Djokovic reveals that he could have played his last Australian Open

However, The Serbian tennis player himself made it clear that this participation in the Australia Open could be the last of his career. Well, at 37 years old and with some injuries that he has had for years, Novak believes that if he is not at the necessary level he will not compete again in this Australian Grand Slam.

“It probably could have been my last Australian Open. We have to see how the season goes. But if I’m motivated I don’t see a problem in playing again. I love this sport. I love him. It allowed me to be here. I am grateful for many things,” explained the experienced tennis player.

“There is a possibility. Who knows? I’ll have to see how the season goes… If I’m fit, healthy, motivated, I don’t see a reason why I wouldn’t come.”Djokovic closed regarding the possibility of returning to Australia next year.
