A faithful replica, piece by piece. THE NEW LEGO SET Recreate the original game boy with a surprising level of detail. It consists of 421 pieces and maintains a scale close to the real. It includes all the elements that marked that console: the crosshead, the A and B buttons, select and start, the volume wheel, the contrast control and even the slot for cartridges.

Two mythical games are also included. LEGO has designed two buildable cartridges that can be inserted into the console: Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. The front allows you to exchange screens, with options that replicate the start of Nintendo or scenes inspired by those games. In addition, the panel has a slow effect that gives the feeling that the screen is really lit.

It is not functional, but neither does it pretend

This game boy does not emit sounds, it does not turn on or allow to play. It is not a console, but a collection piece designed for adults who enjoy assembly and design. Even so, its nostalgic power is undeniable.

Release and Price Date. The set can already be reserved on Lego.com and stores selected by 59.99 euros. It will officially go on sale on October 1, 2025. A different way – but very special – to relive an unrepeatable era of portable video game.
