A few months ago Irobot, the company behind the sheeled vacuum cleaners, He gave a twist to his catalog. Since March, Irobot has three ranges: The Roomba (entrance range), the plus Roomba (the mid -range) and the Max Roomba (the high range). The first two already had members, but the flagship was still in the air. And if we talk in the past it is because it is here. His name: Max 705 combo.
A two in one with several tricks. THE ROBA MAX 705 COMBO (Do not confuse with the Max 705 empty) It is a robot that sweeps, aspires and passes the mop. Nothing out of the ordinary, until we see how it does. The device has two anti -re -gum brushes to better reach the edges (although they do not move to the sides as other models), a central brush that aspires to dirt and a roller -shaped mop that is, without a doubt, the main protagonist.
Roller. The mops passed smooth rags to circular mops and the next step seems to be the mop-rodillo. This system, baptized as Powerspin, consists of a roller that rotates 200 times per minute and is cleaned in real time with new hot water. The dirty water is collected with a small shovel that, in theory, should also improve the spongy of the mopa on the march.
And the edges? Although the Roomba Max 705 Combo has no telescopic brushes, it is able to move the roller to the side so that the corners and edges do not remain without scrubbing. It also has a retractable protective cover that is placed under the mop to prevent the carpets from wetting. It is a system that, indeed, reminds a lot of what is proposed by Dreame in its recent Aqua10 Ultra Roller.

Navigation. Irobot has set aside the classic Lidar Superior and, instead, has integrated it into the device. Thus, the robot is able to create 3D house maps for smarter navigation, automatically assign each room and move in the dark. As for the camera, it is placed on the front and recognizes cables, socks, pet depositions and if the dirt is dry or wet.

The base. The robot is able to return alone to the base and self -imposite. The Autowash base offers, according to Irobot, up to 75 days of highway, cleaning and recharge of water, but is also able to clean the mop-rodillo. As? Combining a 72ºC water cleaning system and air drying at 50ºC.
Versions and price. The new Max 705 Combo Roomba with the Autowash base can already be reserved. It will be sent in approximately one or two weeks and its price is 1,099 eurosthus competing with the great exponents of brands such as Roborock or Dreame.
