Meta has just announced the launch of several new pairs of smart glasses that it calls simply Meta Glasses (“Meta Glasses”), but what is really striking about the launch is not the specifications of the glasses – which hardly change – but who is behind it.
Because for the first time, Meta gets rid of branding and the alliance with Ray-Ban to launch these glasses. The new range consists of the Fury, Adventurer and Starfire Kylie Edition models, each of which has a different design. Let’s get to know them.

Three designs, one influencer
While the Fury are somewhat larger, more rectangular and with somewhat thicker temples, the Adventurer are more stylized and “compact”. In both cases we have these designs in both standard and large sizes.

But in addition to it comes the Starfire Kylie Edition, the “premium” version of these new models, which according to Meta have been developed in collaboration with the influencer Kylie Jenner.
Its design is totally different and differential, much more ovalbut they also have a special voice for Meta AI that apparently sounds similar to Jenner’s voice.
All glasses can be used with prescription lenses, and all have a case that in turn recharges the glasses when they are inside. In the case of Kylie Jenner’s, the case has an interior mirror.
for the first time the logo disappears and any traces of Ray-Ban on Meta’s connected glasses. Andrew Bosworth, CTO of the company, pointed out that the alliance with EssilorLuxottica is still in force, and that the idea here was to expand the catalog and offer more price options for users.
Because that is the great argument of these models: They start at 309 euros when, for example, Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Launched in September 2025, they started at 419 euros. The price of the Kylie Jenner edition, yes, is also 419 euros.
The new models are practically identical in specifications, and have, for example, the same camera and recording formats, but they also add a sixth microphone compared to the previous version. The connectivity, storage space and support for iOS and Android is almost identical (minimum iOS 17), and what does change is a special detail: the AI model.
In fact, the glasses have a new physical button to activate the AI, and by pressing it we can start conversing with the Meta AI model, which for the first time in these glasses It’s Muse Spark. This action button is however customizable, which will allow us to use it for other tasks.
Among the options offered by this new AI model is a more versatile real-time translation mode (accepts Mandarin Chinese, South Korean, or Japanese). Theoretically we are facing an AI that improves significantly in the conversational mode and also in the recognition of places and objects.
