This is the list of strict settings that are activated with this option. Remember that you cannot choose which ones to activate or deactivate, it runs everything at once.
- Multimedia content and attached documents: Sending media or attachments from unknown senders is blocked.
- Groups: Only those users you have in your contacts will be able to add you to groups.
- Silence calls from unknown numbers: No one you do not have in your contacts will be able to make voice calls to you, these will be blocked.
- Block messages from unknown accounts: Messages from strangers that exceed a certain volume will be blocked. Come on, if someone you don’t have in contacts starts writing to you a lot, they will automatically stop being able to do so.
- Turn off link previews: To prevent third-party pages from deducing your IP, previews of the links that are shared in the chats you are in are no longer generated.
- Security notifications: If any of your contacts change the security code for end-to-end encrypted chats on their phone, you’ll be notified. Come on, if he has changed his mobile phone or writes to you from a different one, you will know.
- Two-step verification: You will be required to set a 6-digit PIN when you go to log in with your phone number on WhatsApp.
- Personal information: Only your contacts will be able to see your profile photo, information section, your status, the time you last logged in or if you are online.
