He Newell’s Old Boys of Argentina announced the signing of the Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navaswho joins as a free player after his departure from Paris Saint Germain in mid-2024.
“Proud to announce that Keylor Navas is the new goalkeeper of Newell’s Old Boys. “Welcome to your new home!” wrote the Rosario club through its X network profile, where it described the goalkeeper as “an international legend.”
Navas himself announced his joining the Argentine club through his networks, with a message in which he said feeling “prepared, eager and very happy to face this new challenge.”

The experienced 38-year-old goalkeeper, international for Costa Rica, arrives at Newell’s Old Boys after a semester without activity after his time in Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain and Nottingham Forest, among others.
